SENTRAL is a combined operating system and software suite for running web-based applications, designed specifically with the needs of educators and students in mind. Its low administration overhead, facilitated by automatic updating and remote monitoring, means more time can be spent educating instead of administering and upgrading software. The SENTRAL software suite can include all the configurations listed below installed on a single server, or schools can purchase any of the 4 different configurations on their own or in combination. The Sentral Suite includes Reporting and Assessing, Student Profiles, Student Welfare, Strategic Planning, Attendance, Timetabling, Messaging, Curriculam Planning and Student e-learning.The Sentral Suite is available for purchase in its entirety or as individual applications. SENTRAL WEB Server
SENTRAL web server is the flagship of the SENTRAL servers. It is a fully customisable server that can integrate Proxy, Backup, Moodle if required as well as host any number of our Educational software titles from the Sentral Software suite, student applications and many Opensource software programs. Sentral Software Suite includes Reporting and Assessing, Student Profiling, Welfare Tracking, Strategic Management and Planning as well as Student/Parent Email/SMS notifications. | SENTRAL PROXY Server
Running GProxy (SENTRAL Proxy Server), our proxy server speeds up the Internet by keeping a local copy of frequently accessed sites. It allows schools to keep tabs on what the most frequently accessed websites are, and add their own web filters to prevent access to undesirable sites. Schools can also download and store websites in a permanent or semi-permanent cache for offline access. Additional services include DNS, DHCP, Firewall, NAT and VLAN routing, plus numerous options for authenticating Internet access if desired. | SENTRAL BACKUP Server
Powered by our GProtect Backup software, this server automates backups of data from any server or workstation, anywhere on your network. GProtect performs daily incremental backups and stores them going back 2 weeks, with a monthly backup kept from the first backup of each month beyond that. Offsite backup is also available depending on bandwidth and hardware within your organisation. | SENTRAL MOODLE Server
SENTRAL Moodle servers are specifically designed and tuned to provide an optimal Moodle learning experience, for clients who require many simultaneous users are looking to make effective use of Moodle in their school curriculum. Moodle comes pre-installed and is tuned to suit individual client needs.
