Licence Agreement
The purchase of Sentral and/or any of its add-on modules signifies agreement to the following terms and conditions.
Terms of Agreement
Access and ongoing use of the SENTRAL Platform requires a mandatory annual licence. The SENTRAL server, including access to all software on the system will automatcially be disabled if the annual licence payment is not received.
GP Technology Solutions has taken all reasonable steps to ensure the protection of your school's personal information, including but not limited to OASIS, ESR, ESR Welfare, EduPro, Intranet, and Curriculum data, from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure by designing secure, customised software with a login and password hierarchy, allocated individually to each school.
To maintain the security of your information, please ensure that you exercise extra care by:
- Allocating users to the appropriate levels
- Provide your staff with secure passwords that are not accessible by students
- Ensure that school staff never leave a workstation logged in to the Staff Centre, if not using it at the time
- Change your passwords on a regular basis (minimum monthly)
- Use minimum 8 digit alphanumeric passwords
- Upon initial setup, immediately change default passwords for SENTRAL applications
To maintain the security of your BACKUP information, please ensure that you exercise extra care by:
- Mandatory notification of all backup data requests and changes via fax/email using the GProtect data form
- Allocating a specific backup user for your curriculum servers that is not used for normal network access
- Limit access to backup/restore features for specific staff
GP Technology Solutions accepts no responsibility for:
Data that isn't backed up due to incorrect file permissions, files being left open, internal network issues, use of simplistic passwords, staff/students sharing passwords, servers being offline or loss of authentication due to schools changing access passwords, hardware failure or non-notification of changes to backup requests. GP Technology Solutions has no direct access to staff and student data and as such our company and personnel accept no responsibility whatsoever for inappropriate access, misuse, loss or resultant issues of school data obtained or archived through this program.
3rd Party Software:
Clients using 3rd Party Software on the Sentral plafform, inclduing ESR and OpenSource software are also bound by the agremeents listed by the vendors or their software usage policies. Specifically, clients purchasing Easy School Reports (Primary or High) and ESR Welfare signify agreement
